Symmetry School - Reflective Symmetry - Lesson PlanIn this lesson plan, students will use the Symmetry School: Learning Geometry iPad app to explore concepts of reflective symmetry. Students will explore symmetrical patterns using both vertical and horizontal lines of symmetry, and will develop their spatial sense to create strategies to help them solve problems. Students will also verbalize and make connections between mathematical concepts and problem-solving.

Access to Symmetry School Online (Whiteboard Version)

If you have purchased the Symmetry School: Learning Geometry App, you can now get FREE access to Symmetry School Online (Whiteboard version). Please note that the Whiteboard Version is currently only available in English and Irish.

Retrieving Your Activation Code

Your Activation Code which can be a viewed in the following locations:

  • Symmetry School App Info Screen
  • iPad Settings Screen

  • Launch the ‘Symmetry School’ app.
  • Tap the ‘Info’ button on the bottom right corner of the screen.
  • The Activation Code is displayed in the footer area of the Info screen.

  • Launch your iPad ‘Settings’ screen.
  • Scroll down and tap the ‘Symmetry’ App Icon.
  • The Activation Code is displayed in the ‘About’ area of the ‘Symmetry’ Settings screen.

Using Your Activation Code

To gain access to Symmetry School Online, follow the steps below;

Step 1. Complete the registration form, entering your Activation Code in the provided type-in field and click ‘Register’.
Step 2. When registration is completed a password will be sent to your email address. Access your email account to retrieve your password.
Step 3. Enter your Username or Email and Password in the provided type-in fields and click ‘Log In’.
Step 4. Under ‘Your Member Subscriptions’ click ‘Launch Symmetry School’ to launch Symmetry School Online.

Once you are registered as a Spraoi School member, you can access your Spraoi School Online products via the ‘Members’ link in the navigation bar to access your Spraoi School account at any time.
